The trail network of the Cinque Terre National Park is vast and ranges from the stretches closest to the sea to those that run along the ridge at about 700m above sea level. Real mountain paths, with steep ascents and demanding descents, which can be difficult for less expert walkers, but which, with good footwear and due caution, most people in good physical shape will be able to tackle, enjoying the splendid panoramas offered by these paths overlooking the sea.
