The Cinque Terre are easily reached by train on the Genoa-Livorno line. The regional trains of the Genoa-La Spezia line stop in Manarola and in the period of high affluence, between April and October, the trains follow one another at high intensity especially in the central hours of the day. For timetables and information, visit the trenitalia.com website. Once you arrive at the station, you have to go through the exit tunnel, turn left and follow the signs towards the sea. Our hotel is located on the main road on the right, less than 5 minutes on foot.

Please notice that Manarola, as all the Cinque Terre, is a small and car free village. The closest car park is at 15 minutes walk from our hotel. The advice we give to our customers, especially in the months of high season between April and October, is to leave the car in the “Park Centro Stazione”, the indoor parking under the Central Train Station of La Spezia, then take a train to reach Manarola. The journey by train is short (about 10 minutes) and Manarola train station is at less than 5-minutes walk to our hotel. Furthermore, you will not need a car to visit the Cinque Terre and it is more convenient to move between the villages by train or by boat. Coming from the highway, we recommend to get out only and exclusively at La Spezia/S.Stefano, take the highway connection to the city of La Spezia and cross the city center following the signs for the Cinque Terre. Any other route, even if showed by the GPS navigator, is not raccomanded as the roads are narrow and very winding. If you still decide to reach the village by car: the easiest way is to drive the coastal road Via delle Cinque Terre for about 13 km up to a small roundabout where you have to take the second exit that goes down to Manarola. You will find parking lots along the road that descends from the roundabout, this parkings are free, but pay attention to the prohibition signs close to the bends. Between the bends there is a payment parking, which cannot be booked in advance. The rate is about €20 per day + €3 for every hour in excess. After the payment parking there is a gate, where the hinabitants parking starts. Please do not go cross the barrier with the car as you are liable to a fine if you park inside this area. After this last parking lot starts the village itself, which is a car free area, accessible only for local busses and emergency vehicles. After parking, walk down the main road for about 15/20 minutes (no stairs) After the elevated square where the “Da Aristide” restaurant is located, you will find us after 100 m on your right, in front of the pizzeria "il Discovolo".
